一, double-clad fiber (HCS)

1. Technical description

Quartz double-clad optical fiber is divided into ultraviolet quartz double-clad optical fiber (UVHCS) and infrared quartz double-clad optical fiber (IRHCS) according to the spectral transmission range; numerical aperture (NA): 0.22 ± 0.02, 0.27 ± 0.02; ): 1: 1.04, 1: 1.05, 1: 1.1, 1: 1.22, 1: 1.4.

Transmission range: UVHCS: 190nm ~ 1200nm; IRHCS: 350nm ~ 2500nm

Transmittance (wavelength 632.8nm): ≧ 99.7% / m;

Long-term use temperature (acrylic resin coating): -40 ℃ ~ 80 ℃

Long-term bending radius: 300D (D is the outer diameter of the fiber cladding);

Short-term bending using radius: 100D (D is the outer diameter of the fiber cladding);

二、Hard resin clad quartz optical fiber.

Quartz-side light-emitting fiber, also known as full-dispersion fiber, is a new type of fiber with different light output characteristics from ordinary quartz fiber. After the light is incident from the end of the fiber, it is output through its side surface. It is mainly used in medical and environmental protection fields.

六、Quartz Taper Fiber

1.Technical Description

  

Quartz taper fiber, also known as variable core diameter fiber, is a kind of tapered fiber with linear core diameter and continuous length along the length direction. it is composed of tapered segment (long L1) and tail fiber (long L2). In the tapered region, the core diameter and outer diameter change gradually from large to small along the length direction, and the tail fiber is a cylindrical optical fiber segment that keeps the core diameter of the thin end unchanged along the length direction, and its length can be determined according to the actual needs.

The variable core diameter optical fiber is different from the existing ordinary cylindrical optical fiber. It is a tapered optical fiber whose core diameter varies linearly along the length direction. As a new type of optical fiber, the input of large core diameter can improve the damage threshold and transmission efficiency; the output of tail fiber with small core diameter can converge the energy of light, increase the energy density, and improve the stability and flexibility of the system.   Fluorine-coated fiber can not be used in the transmission of high-power laser, but is generally made into beam transmission, which is used for the transmission of visible light and ultraviolet fluorescence.

八、Radiation-resistant quartz optical fiber

  

Because the skin layer of the quartz fiber is doped with fluorine, the radiation resistance of the quartz fiber is improved, and high-energy information transmission can be realized.

The characteristics of this radiation-resistant quartz fiber are: the radiation-resistant quartz fiber can withstand the transient irradiation of γ-rays at a dose of 100 Gy / h, and there is no significant change in the transmission performance of the fiber at the dose for 20 minutes.

This radiation-resistant quartz fiber is suitable for high-energy transmission or image transmission in an irradiated environment.
